Meet Dolma
Hello and welcome!
I'm Dolma, the founder of Tara Therapy and Wellness.
I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves and their relationships. While much of my passion lies in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), perfectionism, and relational challenges, I also welcome individuals facing a range of mental health concerns, including stress, depression, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
Personal and professional experiences have shaped my path to becoming a therapist. As an immigrant, I understand the complexities of navigating identity, belonging, and cultural transitions. My background as a Registered Nurse deepened my appreciation for the strength and vulnerability in each person's story and inspired my commitment to offering compassionate, holistic, and profound human care.
I practice from an integrative perspective, tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs and experiences. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I strive to create a collaborative, flexible space where your goals, values, and growth are honoured.
To me, therapy is a place where you can feel fully seen, heard, and supported as you move toward greater connection, resilience, and self-compassion. It would be an honour to walk alongside you on your journey!
